Bink M.
University of Amsterdam
The Starting Point
From the beginning, Bink and his family had one clear objective: Oxford University. There was no real discussion about alternatives.
Bink was following the A-Level curriculum with high predicted grades in Economics and History. Oxford was possible, but far from guaranteed. His family also could not fund full tuition without financial support, and there was no backup plan.
The strategy had no margin for error and no balanced consideration of program fit, teaching style, long-term goals, career opportunities, or cost.
What Changed
Bink and his family were shown how his profile aligned with different universities across Europe, focusing on economics and social sciences programs that matched his interests.
Options were compared across prestige, teaching style, program strengths, career opportunities, overall cost, and the way different European systems operate.
To make the alternatives more concrete, the family was connected with current students and alumni who shared their experiences. Oxford remained in the strategy, but a balanced university list was built around it.
University of Amsterdam
Bink was not admitted to Oxford.
He secured offers from Sciences Po and the University of Amsterdam, both aligned with his interests and long-term goals.
