For eligible students with enough time to benefit meaningfully, SAJU can integrate a Flagship Project into the broader admissions strategy to strengthen the student's profile.
The student and their counselor first determine what the project should consist of and why, based on the student's academic direction, interests, profile gaps and broader university strategy.
Through SAJU's mentor network, the student then works 1:1 with a mentor from top-tier institutions such as MIT, ETH Zurich and EPFL to turn that direction into a tangible project.
Throughout the eight-week project, students move through research, development, mentor feedback and refinement to build something that demonstrates genuine curiosity, initiative and capability to admissions officers.
Students who complete the mentorship receive a recommendation letter from their mentor, allowing the person who directly supervised their work to recommend them as part of their university applications.
