About the Project
Ayaan explored the potential of RNA therapeutics, including siRNA, miRNA and antisense oligonucleotides, as approaches to neurodegenerative diseases.
His literature review focused on Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease and Spinal Muscular Atrophy, examining biological mechanisms, possible therapeutic approaches and their limitations.
