THE CHALLENGE

Europe offers more choice. It also creates more complexity.

The UK, Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and other European destinations do not follow one admissions system.

Different universities have different requirements, application platforms, deadlines, academic expectations and approaches to selecting students. At the same time, families are making decisions about majors, student development, costs, career direction and where their child will ultimately live.

WHO WE ARE

One strategic partner for your child's European university journey

Meet Our Counselors

SAJU is a European university admissions consultancy built around a simple principle: best fit comes first.

The right university is not always the highest-ranked one. It is the university that best matches the student's academic strengths, ambitions, learning preferences, career direction and broader goals.

And the right application starts long before the application itself.

We help students determine the right academic direction, strengthen their profile where there is genuine room to do so, prepare strategically for applications, execute them with discipline, and transition confidently into university life abroad.

Across different European systems, your SAJU counselor brings those decisions into one coherent strategy built around the student; not around a generic formula or a rankings table.

WHAT WE DO

A strategy that advances with the student

Every student's situation is different. SAJU brings the major decisions, development work and application process into one coordinated journey: from understanding where the student stands today through enrollment and transition abroad.

01

Admissions Diagnostic

Establish the right starting point

Understand the student's academics, interests, current profile and ambitions. Evaluate university fit, identify important gaps and establish realistic expectations and priorities from the beginning.

02

Exploration

Find the right direction

Explore academic and career interests, compare majors, understand different European university systems and begin identifying the options that genuinely fit the student.

03

Preparation

Build a stronger profile

Where there is meaningful room to improve, strengthen the student's academic and extracurricular positioning through targeted planning around grades, testing, activities, leadership, research, projects and other relevant opportunities.

04

Application

Turn the strategy into strong applications

Finalize the university list, manage requirements and deadlines, develop essays and supporting materials, prepare for interviews and maintain quality control through submission.

05

Transition

Move from acceptance to university life abroad

Compare offers, make the final enrollment decision and prepare for the practical transition through visa guidance, housing and relocation support, pre-departure planning and continued guidance after arrival.

BUILT AROUND WHERE YOUR CHILD IS NOW

The same complete journey. A different emphasis for every starting point.

Every SAJU student moves through the same core journey: Admissions Diagnostic, Exploration, Preparation, Application and Transition.

What changes is the emphasis placed on each area.

A student beginning several years before university has greater room to explore different interests, test possible directions and deliberately develop a stronger profile. For a student joining at a later stage, application strategy and execution naturally take greater priority as deadlines approach.

Grade 9

More runway for exploration and development

Students have more room to explore several possible academic directions, compare university systems, test interests and develop meaningful experiences over time.

The emphasis is typically greater on exploration, strong foundations and purposeful profile development, without forcing premature decisions about a final major or university list.

Grade 9More runway for exploration and development

Students have more room to explore several possible academic directions, compare university systems, test interests and develop meaningful experiences over time.

The emphasis is typically greater on exploration, strong foundations and purposeful profile development, without forcing premature decisions about a final major or university list.

Grade 10Turn exploration into more deliberate direction

Students explore academic and career possibilities while beginning to narrow promising directions and connect them to a more purposeful academic and extracurricular strategy.

Where useful, we can also connect students with professionals in relevant fields, helping them understand what different academic and career paths actually look like beyond the classroom.

There remains meaningful room to strengthen the student's profile, develop substantial work and begin forming a preliminary view of suitable universities.

Grade 11Make the strategy more concrete

The journey becomes more concentrated and decision-driven.

We validate majors, countries and university fit where needed. Decisions now need to become more concrete, with greater emphasis on identifying target universities, understanding application requirements, closing meaningful profile gaps and preparing the student for the application period ahead.

Grade 12Prioritize what can still make a meaningful difference

Strategy becomes faster, more selective and execution-heavy.

We still assess direction, university fit and positioning rather than jumping blindly into applications.

From there, we focus on what can materially improve the outcome, compress exploration where necessary, position what the student has already built and prioritize high-quality application execution.

For students joining earlier in Grade 12, targeted profile development can be applied where there is genuine runway and strategic value. For later-stage students, we focus on positioning existing strengths and executing applications well rather than creating artificial activities simply to make the profile look busier.

FLAGSHIP PROJECT DEVELOPMENT

Turn an academic interest into tangible work the student can showcase

For eligible students with enough time to benefit meaningfully, SAJU can integrate a Flagship Project into the broader admissions strategy to strengthen the student's profile.

The student and their counselor first determine what the project should consist of and why, based on the student's academic direction, interests, profile gaps and broader university strategy.

Through SAJU's mentor network, the student then works 1:1 with a mentor from top-tier institutions such as MIT, ETH Zurich and EPFL to turn that direction into a tangible project.

Throughout the eight-week project, students move through research, development, mentor feedback and refinement to build something that demonstrates genuine curiosity, initiative and capability to admissions officers.

Students who complete the mentorship receive a recommendation letter from their mentor, allowing the person who directly supervised their work to recommend them as part of their university applications.

BUILT-IN ACCOUNTABILITY

Always know what comes next

A strong admissions strategy only works if it is actually executed, with clear ownership and clear deadlines.

That is why SAJU manages the process through our proprietary platform, where the student's tasks, deadlines, documents, submissions and counselor feedback are organized in one place.

Students can see what needs to be done, upload work, receive feedback and track progress without relying on scattered spreadsheets, emails or message threads.

Families stay aligned through structured progress reviews with their counselor and clear visibility into what is happening, what matters now and what comes next.

FAQ

Common questions, transparent answers

Which countries and universities does SAJU support?

SAJU specializes in undergraduate university admissions across Europe, including major destinations such as the UK, Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany, France, Italy and Spain. Different European countries follow very different admissions systems. Our role is to compare those options intelligently and bring them together into one coherent strategy built around the student.

When is the best time to start?

There is no single correct starting grade. Students who begin earlier have greater room to explore possible directions and deliberately develop their profile. As application deadlines approach, the emphasis naturally shifts toward university strategy, positioning and execution. SAJU adapts the journey to the student's current profile and stage rather than applying the same curriculum to everyone.

Is Grade 12 too late?

No. Grade 12 simply changes what good strategy looks like. We identify what can still meaningfully influence the application, determine the right university strategy, position the student's existing strengths and prioritize disciplined execution around upcoming deadlines.

Does every student complete a Flagship Project?

No. Flagship Projects are recommended only when there is enough runway and a genuine strategic reason to build one. For eligible students, the counselor first determines how the project should support the student's academic direction and broader admissions strategy. The student is then matched with a relevant expert mentor to develop the work through 1:1 guidance.

How is SAJU different from a traditional admissions agency?

SAJU does not begin with essays and application forms. We combine 1:1 counselor judgment with structured data and our University Fit Assessment to make better-informed decisions about academic direction, university selection and student fit. Where there is enough runway, we can begin years before applications, helping the student explore possible directions and develop a stronger profile before positioning and application execution begin. And when we build the university list, best fit comes before prestige alone. We balance ambition with academic fit, personal preferences, career direction, cost and risk rather than chasing rankings for their own sake.

How do families stay informed?

Every student works with a dedicated counselor, while tasks, deadlines, documents and progress are organized through SAJU's proprietary platform. Families also have periodic progress reviews with the counselor to discuss important developments, decisions and next steps, keeping parents informed without requiring them to manage the process day to day.

Do you guarantee admission?

No. No credible counselor can guarantee how a university will make its final decision. Our responsibility is to build the strongest realistic strategy around the student's actual profile, communicate risks clearly and tell families the truth, including when that truth is not what they initially hoped to hear.
